Yew Tree Nursing Home has a flexible outlook to social activities depending on the individual needs and ability of the service user.

We employ a fulltime Activities Co-Ordinator, Monday to Friday, as well as an additional Carer who leads activities in the afternoons and on weekends.

Various outside Entertainers visit on a regular basis, inclusing "The Creative Talks Company", two separate Musicians, "Activise" Workout Co-Ordinator and numerous other shows. The Management are more than happy to research any requests from Residents for specific activities or performers.

Monthly visits by local Church of England representatives to take communion service. It is possible depending on service users condition for staff to accompany them to the local church from time to time.

Catholic communion offered weekly to any catholic service users. Arrangements for other denominations by request.

Monthly visits by mobile shop, toiletries, sweets and sundry items. Six monthly visits by Mobile shop - Clothes.

Various outside entertainers visit through out the year.

Walks to the village shops weather permitting.

Individual Social Care is addressed and updated according to need and ability.
